What on earth that CT Photostat Centre (picture above) is doing with my life. Oh! I forgot, I live up there. I actually rent there about 11 days before I can get my own rental house. The truth about Manjung, it is difficult to find rental home there. Especially Sri Manjung area – Sri Manjung is very near to my workplace. The population is high but the houses build is not equivalent to hold the capacity of people in Manjung.

Rent rooms are quite popular in Manjung and it have variant of room. People actually do this rent room business and you can get see the advertisement everywhere in Manjung. You can get with or without air conditioner, plywood wall or nice wall, your own bathroom or shared bathroom.

I had no choice other than to stay this my mom called "P. Ramlee Movie: Masam Masam Manis Rental Room" . It never equate in my mind that I will stay there for a while. My room equipped with queen size bed, mirror and cabinet. It was my first experience live in the shop building.

It has 2 other bedrooms, one office, one kitchen and two bathrooms. We need to share living hall include tv, kitchen and bathroom. Compare to rental house cost, this room quite expensive since the expense are include electricity, tv, refrigerator, kitchen, furniture and wifi. To be honest I am not really like to stay there. Not so homey – feel like outsider.

Alhamdulillah, after 8 days in Manjung I got one rental house for affordable price at Manjung Point.

kl + pj + bangsar + cheras + klcc + bukit bintang

This entry just wants to tell about my first experience in Klang valley. Previously if I have the outstation in KL, I will ask my experience subordinate to drive, because he has the experience and familiar with all roads. Last Sunday it was my first experience to drive in KL, from PLUS exit Jalan Duta to go to my cousin house in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras. Based on map (GPS tak beli lagilah) that I bought in Kedai Mesra Petronas, it really helps me. The traffic is ok maybe because it is weekend holiday. I manage to get to Bandar Tun Razak on time through Jalan Kuching, Kinabalu, Maharajalela and Loke Yew.

Then I did the road survey to go to Bangsar from my cousin home. Use Tol Rm 0.50 sen (forgot the name) then to federal highway, it seem so easy and the duration is about 15 min to 20 min. Then survey to PJ from Bangsar it also take about 10 to 15 min. Bandar Tun Razak to PJ about 20 to 25 min.

On Monday it seems so different with many vehicles and traffic jam especially federal highway. The duration from 15 min to Bangsar become 40 min although I left my cousin home on 7.00 am. The disaster and most annoying of all are during the time to back to Bandar Tun Razak from PJ. On Monday after the induction is completed about 5.30 pm then I hit to federal highway. The traffic is so damn slow. It takes about one and half hour to reach Bandar Tun Razak. Imagine the 20 min turn to 1.5 hours; I will never forget this …

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is free activity so we can finish all the registration, complete the documentation, medical check-up and everything. I did the medical check-up in one of clinic at the Lucky Garden, Bangsar. Then I hit to Pantai Medical Centre Bangsar for Imaging Test – Xray. Then hit Jalan Gasing PJ for KWSP, then PJ Court to get Stamp from Suruhanjaya Sumpah. This is one of exhausting day for me.

On Wednesday after short briefing then we are free to finish everything about registration. I take this chance to go to Mid Valley Megamall and also The Garden – Mid Valley Megamall. Just take the walk and tour the whole shopping complex, damn it was huge, everything in there. Same on Thursday, after briefing and take the urine test result in Bangsar, I hit to KLCC area and Bukit Bintang area – to get to know the road / the area and take the tour in Pavillion. These two days memang “Jalan Jalan – Sesat Jalan” and “Jalan Jalan – Cuci Mata” hahaha.

On Friday, submit all the form and everything to HR then got “ Surat Penempatan”. Last but not least, since Monday I already know that I will allocate at Manjung Perak, but the official letter is gave on Friday. Alhamdulillah.

GIS or Graduate Internship Scheme is a program that I entered before become permanent employee of NAMSB. One year program started at 4th Sept 2006 until 1st Sept 2007.

20 selected candidates are divided to 5 groups with one mentor for each group.

Group 1 - Mentor (ALO) - Nabil, Jedi, Amin, Shah

Group 2 - Mentor (Faizuri) - Hafiz, Jan, Anas A, Aziz

Group 3 - Mentor (Laila) - Me, Rushdi, Zaharan, Hafizah

Group 4 - Mentor (Roslin) - Reza, Nazim, Ahmadi, Firuz

Group 5 - Mentor (Rafi) - Zayd, Anas A, Zaim , Loo

One year with planned programs and a lot of additional programs that are not mentions at the first place, tears, hardworking, happiness, sweats, mentors, mama, 5s, menyanyi kat morning market, contract kononnya, Asmaul Husna, NKA, Raub, Bilik Kebal, Husin Nasi Kandar, WAWO, tukar department (aku lah tuh..heheh), kaizen, RY, Hadi, warning letter (tgh waktu kerja, boleh balik umah tgk bola..isk isk), sabtu kena kerja, pekan, program jana insan, Ustaz Ku and others. One year that I will remember for the rest of my life. Hehehe

memory 1 + gurun + rental + homes

Approximately just three week left for me to spend time in Gurun, Kedah. I still remember first time i came to gurun, only bring the important things, not so much cloths only the priority items.

3 September 2006, I reached gurun and found this rental house with my friends for rm 180.00 per month. This house in Taman Ria Mesra is 6 km from town Gurun. 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom is not efficeint for me, Reza, Hafiz, Anas A and Jedi. Kena beratur and ambil nombor giliran untuk mandi. After a month Jedi left the house.

Pictures below are taken inside the house. Memang macam rumah mat rempit. Kalau puzat zakat dan baitulmal datang ziarah, konfem dapat bantuan. Tak pun panggil bersamamu tv3. Tidor luar reramai sebab kat luar ja ada kipas siling.

Lepas tak tahan dengan jauh dari pekan (padahal 6 km ja), Anas A cadang nak pindah. Walaupun tentangan datang dari Reza sebab agreement rumah (rumah buruk cam tuh pun ada agreement), then kami pindah ke rumah dekat tgh town Gurun selepas berbincang dan persetujuan dari tuan rumah.

New home located kat belakang KLG gurun, tak ingat nama taman apa. rm 280.00 per month, 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom, ok lah tak perlu nak amik nombor dah. Lepas cuti raya puasa 2006 aku, Reza, Hafiz dan Anas A pindah ke situ. Ingat lagi jiran sebelah rumah Janda dengan anak dara 3 org. Hehehe.

Selepas 8 bulan lebih, 30 Ogos 2007 pindah lagi ke rumah satu lagi (rumah yg saya menyewa sekarang). Rumah nih mmg strategik. Beberapa "kangkang kera" dah sampai kedai, restoran nasi kandar, aneka dan jerai mall (bunyi gempak tapi kecik ja). Peghuni asal rumah nih 7 orang - Anas G, Zayd, Shah, Jan, Nabil, Rusdi dan Jedi. Jedi tinggalkan kami utk rumah nih la. Then 3 orang blah - Rusdi, Jedi dan Nabil (resign). So aku, Reza dan Anas A take over. Hafiz dah blah dah (resign).

Rumah nih sewa rm 500.00 per month, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 1 stor utk 7 orang. Wah memang mcm mcm. Tapi time tuh rasa ok ja. Mmg kurang privasi, nak privasi duduk dalam stor lah. hahaha. Then masa berlalu dan sorg sorg blah Anas A (resign ikut bini), Reza (tak resign cuma dah kawin), Jan (resign) then Shah (resign).

Sekarang rumah tuh tinggal Aku, Zayd dan Anas G. Hujung tahun 2008 Nizam dan Lan masuk. So penghuni skrg 5 orang. Aku tak kisah sgt rumah ramai org, pi mai aku blk kampung tiap tiap weekend.

Apa yg menarik umah nih view depan umah yg mengadap gunung jerai. Pagi pagi panaskan enjin keta, memang view manarik. Kabus (tak pasti pulak rasa - rasa kabus kat gurun nih byk sebab Petronas Fertilizer tuh) , gunung jerai, kkdg sejuk. Gurun... Gurun...
